A clear hello. An honest intention.
This pledge is my personal commitment to how I use Cherry Kiss. It is not a certificate of good character, a background or criminal-record check, proof that everything a person says is true, or a guarantee that another member is safe.
A successful 18+ age checked badge has a narrow meaning: Stripe's configured government-photo-document check passed, the verified date of birth matched the Cherry Kiss account and the member met the age rule at the time. If the member chose an optional selfie, its configured comparison also passed. The badge does not disclose which route was used, show that a background or criminal-record check took place, or replace my judgement, another person's boundaries or Cherry Kiss's moderation duties.
What I commit to
- I will represent myself honestly, give accurate age and eligibility information, use only my own identity evidence and photos, and choose the relationship goal that reflects what I genuinely want.
- I will not share or misuse an identity-verification link, ask another person to verify for me, or try to evade a failed, paused, blocked, suspended or closed account.
- I will respect other people's intentions, audience, age and distance choices instead of trying to bypass their boundaries or the app's eligibility rules.
- I will send connection requests and introductions with care. I will not use them to harass, threaten, shame, manipulate, sell, demand money or apply sexual pressure.
- I understand that consent is freely given, specific and reversible. A profile view, request, match, message, shared interest, subscription or past interaction is not consent to something else.
- I will accept a declined invitation, lack of reply, unmatch or block. I will not pursue someone through another account, service or person.
- I will use text and emoji chat lawfully and respectfully. I will not send unlawful material, unsolicited explicit content, hidden attachments, passwords, verification codes or another person's private information.
- I will not seek money, account access, financial information or other benefits through deception or romantic pressure.
- I will protect private information and content. I will not expose another person's identity, exact location, private messages or intimate material without the appropriate permission.
- I will use report, block and unmatch controls in good faith. I will raise genuine safety concerns without retaliating, coordinating false reports or threatening a report to force an outcome.
- I will cooperate with a reasonable human review and use the appeal route honestly if I believe a decision is wrong.
- I will take responsibility for correcting misleading information and for the effect of my behaviour, rather than treating this pledge or an identity badge as a substitute for respectful action.
What this acknowledgement means
I have read this version of the pledge and understand the separate Community Rules, Terms and Privacy Notice. My acknowledgement and its version can be recorded against my Cherry Kiss membership.
This acknowledgement does not itself authorise a Stripe biometric check, payment, marketing, sensitive-data matching or joining Truly Yours. If I choose the optional matching-selfie route, Cherry Kiss must separately explain the biometric comparison and ask for my explicit consent. I may decline or withdraw that consent and use the document-only route with the same eligibility, access, badge and support after its document and date-of-birth checks pass.
Acknowledging the pledge does not make my profile public, approve my photos, pass identity checks or guarantee entry to discovery. Cherry Kiss must continue to apply mutual eligibility, privacy and safety controls and provide a way to report, block, unmatch and appeal.
Cherry Kiss should apply its rules fairly and must not claim that it can prove integrity or guarantee chemistry. I can contact CHERRYCARE360 LTD (company number 17309946) at support@cherrykiss.co.uk about this pledge or a concern.
